The Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture was established in 1956 and it is one of 12 educational colleges of the Houston University. The college situated in Texas, United State. It provides both undergraduate and graduate level degree programs. In March 1997, Gerald D. Hines donated dollar 7 million to the College of Architecture. The school answered by renaming the architecture school after Gerald D. The present was the biggest ever which received by the architecture school and among the 10 biggest present received by the University of Houston.
According to the past, the Sasakawa International Center for Space Architecture (SICSA) is accommodation within the Hines College of Architecture assembly. It recently proceeded to the Cullen engineering college but the candidate and potential margin are still placed on the 3rd floor of the house.
Ranking and award
The Industrial Design Program was the victor of IDSA National Student Merit Award of Southern District Winner of the the year of 2010 and 2011. Chicago International Housewares manifest – Student Design Competition – 1st place 2011, 2012 1st place, and 2014 also 1st place. The Industrial Design Program has ranked 14th among many Universities in the Europe and U.S. in Red Dot Design Ranking 2014.
